The paper of George Kasule on professional development of teaching staff in university education in Uganda has been accepted for publication. The paper is based on the PhD research of George. It shows the challenges of teacher professional development in this specific case, but it is expected that this case is representative of many universities in East Africa, or, rather, developing countries.
