Returned to the office after 6 weeks USA
I returned to the office after two conferences (AERA in Philadelphia and AIAEE in Miami) and visits to four universities in the USA (Penn State, Virginia Tech, University of Georgia and the University of Florida) where I gave presentations and had conversations about our research and ECS.

Dr Kiumars Zarafshani presented at ECS
On March 14, Dr Kiumars Zarafshani presented his work at Wageningen University as guest of ECS at the occasion of the doctoral dissertation defence of Saeid Noroozi. Dr Zarafshani actively helps students in higher agricultural education to start up agri-business enterprises for self-employment. 20 Master programmes of Wageningen University “top programmes”
Wageningen Bachelor programmes have been assessed by the Choice Guide Universities as being the best in the Netherlands for the last nine years. Since 2010 the Master programmes are being assessed and this week 20 Master programmes of Wageningen were assessed as being of top quality. This is the third year in a row that the Wageningen Master programmes are being assessed as the best in the Netherlands.
Quality of in-company training projects: the power is in the preparation
There is only little empirical research on the quality of incompany training projects provided by external training companies. In the late 1990s a group of training companies commissioned research into this. A standardized questionnaire was developed and completed by internal training project commissioners.
